How do I join?

It's never too late to join Cub Scouts! If you have a boy who is in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th grade it is never to late to register him for Cub Scouts. If you would like more information about Cub Scouts please feel free to drop us an email at information@pack199.

What does it cost?

Registration for membership in Pack 199 is $50.00 for a year. The registration fee pays for registration with the Boy Scouts of America, a copy of Boy's Life magazine for each scout, and helps to pay for the awards and supplies for each boy. Boys must complete a registration form for the Boy Scouts of America.
Depending on the activities, Dens Leaders may ask for an activity fee to cover the costs associated with the particular activity. This may include craft supply fees, admission fees, or the like. These will be kept to a minimal and will be announced ahead of time. Some Pack events may also require a nominal activity fee. Family events are usually the responsibility of those who choose to participate.

New Scout Night

Join us on Thursday, September 11th, 2008 in the Art Room at Old Turnpike School from 7:00- 8:00 pm. to learn more about the adventure of Scouting. The Cub Scout program provides lifetime values for boys through fun and educational activities. Scouts are given an opportunity to develop new interests and skills, encouraged to develop good sportsmanship and a sense of personal achievement. Cub Scouting is for boys ages 6-10 (or 1st through 5th grades).

Scholarships

Should fees or any costs become a problem for your family, please contact the Cubmaster or the Pack Committee Chairman. Scholarships are available and all requests will remain confidential.
