What is Cub Scouting All About?
Cub Scouting is for boys ages 6-10 (or 1st through 5th grades). Cub Scouting encourages each boy to strive for his personal best,
a lesson that will help him achieve success throughout his adult life. Cub Scout activities encourage character development, physical coordination,
family unity and enthusiasm for learning. Cub Scouting helps boys develop a sense of teamwork, achievement, self-confidence and respect for others.
Learning to master new skills helps the Cub Scout realize his own abilities and discover that his can-do attitude is the first sign of success in any
endeavor. In fact, that’s the Cub Scout motto – “Do Your Best.”

What is a Pack? When Does Pack 199 Meet?
A Pack is a group made up of several dens. Meetings follow a suggested theme and are a time for boys to be recognized for their accomplishments during
the month and have fun with the entire family. We generally meet the third Friday of each month at the Tewksbury Elementary School on Route 512 (Farmersville Road) at 7:00pm. Every pack meeting
has a theme, and includes a flag ceremony, the Pledge of Allegiance, den reports, songs, skits, games and other fun activities.
See the Pack Calendar for the next pack meeting date.

What is a Den?
A den is a group of six to eight boys within the pack, organized by grade level. Each den meets twice a month and focus on achievements, crafts, games and
learning new things. Dens are lead by a team of adult volunteers – the den leader, assistant den leader and adult partners of boys in the den.
See the Den Page for additional information related to each of the pack dens.
